Guide
How to share care information with siblings
Fair care starts with shared facts. Use one care circle so meds, documents, and updates are not trapped on the sibling who lives closest.
What to share (and what not to dump in WhatsApp)
- Current medication list and Taken / Skipped history
- Upcoming appointments and who is attending
- Discharge letters and key clinic results
- Allergies, GP details, and emergency contacts (SOS)
- Not: endless debate threads — keep decisions short, keep records durable
Three sharing habits that reduce conflict
Invite every sibling who helps
One care circle beats three parallel group chats. Everyone sees the same Today list and activity feed.
Put documents in one vault
Discharge letters, clinic results, and insurance letters live where the next sibling can open them — not in your camera roll.
Share only what responders need
SOS card for emergencies; doctor PDF for GP visits. You control invites — it is not a public Facebook post.
Setup in under 30 minutes
- Create a free account and add your parent as the senior.
- Enter or scan medications so the shared Today list is real.
- Upload the latest discharge or clinic letter to Documents.
- Invite each sibling (and any paid carer) to the care circle.
- Fill the SOS card once; share the link only with people who might meet paramedics.
