How does the daily I'm okay check-in work?

You set a time (default 10am). Mum or Dad taps one large I'm okay button. The family desk shows they checked in. If they miss it after a grace period, you get a nudge to call. No cameras. No location tracking. Push and email nudges are on the free plan. SMS missed-check-in alerts are on the Family plan.

Is my data safe and private?

Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using AES-256 and TLS 1.3. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties, and you can export or delete everything at any time.

Do family members need their own account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, each family member creates a free account. You invite them to your care team and control their access level. There is no extra charge to add family members up to your plan limit.

Can I use SeniorGuardCare for multiple parents or relatives?

Yes. The Free plan supports up to 3 loved ones, and the Family plan supports unlimited loved ones. You manage each loved one in a separate care team, each with their own medications, appointments, and documents.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. There is an Android app on Google Play for the daily I'm okay tap and the family desk. It also works in the browser on any phone or tablet.

What is the emergency SOS card?

The SOS card is a shareable link that shows key medical information (medications, conditions, allergies, contacts) without requiring a login. You can print it, add it to Apple/Google Wallet, or share the link with first responders.

Can care facilities or nursing homes use SeniorGuardCare?

Yes. We have three facility plans: Starter ($49/mo, up to 5 residents), Practice ($149/mo, up to 25 residents), and Agency ($249/mo, up to 75 residents). All include staff management, audit-ready compliance export, and a family portal per resident. Enterprise pricing is available for larger networks.

Is there a free trial for paid plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial so billing can begin after day 14 if you keep the plan  -  cancel any time before then and you will not be charged. The Free plan needs no card.

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel, downgrade, or export your data at any time from your account settings.
